Summer student featured in Eureka magazine
After completing his first year of Computer Science, Michael Lutaaya was awarded a Dean's Summer Research Internship to work in a lab over the summer. Only 15 students are awarded the internship each year. During his time in the CHORUS lab, Michael designed and implemented a game to help users learn and memorize random text passwords. $250,000 in CFI, ORF, and industry infrastructure funding
Sonia Chiasson has been awarded $100,000 from the Canada Foundation for Innovation (CFI)'s Leaders Opportunity Fund. This award will be matched by the Ontario Ministry of Economic Development and Innovation under the Ontario Research Fund and industry for a total grant of $250,000. These funds will be used to acquire research infrastructure for the CHORUS lab.
