Sana Maqsood's PhD is funded through a MITACS PhD Fellowship. eCampus Ontario grant

We are happy to report that we recently received a 1-year eCampus Ontario Digital Inclusion Research grant to support Daniela Napoli's Master's research on usable security and privacy of users with visual impairments.   Her work explores the web-based barriers that screen-reader users face while identifying and managing digital threats. Education game featured

PhD student Sana Maqsood and former Masters student Christine Mekhail have been working on an educational game about  cybersecurity/privacy for tweens.  The game is called A Day in the Life of the Jos.  This project is done in collaboration with MediaSmarts.  Christine worked on the initial conceptualization and the visual design of the game, while Sana has been working on the interaction design and implementation.
