Masters of HCI student Becky Jeong successfully defended her thesis, Children and adults' perception of signal colours, symbols, and words in the context of cybersecurity warnings.  Her worked compared children and adults' interpretation of various symbols, colours, and words used on warning messages to determine how severe they would perceive threats described by these cues.
