About
Reham is a PhD student in Computer Science. Her focus is on digital footprints and designing for forgetting to advocate privacy in social media.
She is currently researching ways to empower social media users with the “Right to be Forgotten” to enhance privacy through visualizing the passage of time and adding privacy contextual cues within the user interface. The research is grounded on different literature areas such as curation of online-self, contextual privacy, design for forgetting, time visualization, and decay theory of human memory.
Research Interests
Reham’s interests are in the areas of Usable Security, Privacy in Social Media, and Digital Footprints.
