HC2P research network launched

On Oct 21, 2021, we held the inaugural Human Centric Cybersecurity Partnership (HC2P) annual workshop. HC2P is a new multi-year SSHRC-funded partnership hosted by Benoit Dupont at the Universite de Montreal. It includes 34 researchers across Canada who work in areas relating to humans and cybersecurity. This explores usable security and privacy, regulatory issues, and societal aspects. We are happy to report that we recently received a 1-year eCampus Ontario Digital Inclusion Research grant to support Daniela Napoli's Master's research on usable security and privacy of users with visual impairments.   Her work explores the web-based barriers that screen-reader users face while identifying and managing digital threats.
