Prof. Eddie Melcer gives talk

July 27, 2018 by Sonia Chiasson

Prof. Eddie Melcer visited the Carleton and the CHORUS lab this week.  On Wednesday, he helped out with the SHAD workshop.  His game demo was a hit with students.  On Thursday, he gave a talk to the CLUE  and HCI students about ALT-CTRL: Bringing Embodied Physical Interactions into the Design of Games and Learning, where he talked about his research into using alternative input devices and physical interaction in learning games.  Eddie is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computational Media and Games and Playable Media program at the University of California, Santa Cruz.
